THE GOVERNMENT
Executive capacity in Chad is insured by the President of the
Republic, elected by mode of direct poll for a five years mandate.
The President of the Republic, in respect with the Constitution
adopted by referendum way on June 06, 2005:
·
ensures the respect of the Constitution;
·
ensures by its arbitration regular operation of the authorities as
well as the continuity of the State.
·
and is guaranteeing independence, sovereignty and national unity, of
the territory integrity and respect of the treaties and
international agreements.
The President of the Republic is assisted in its tasks by a
government lead by a Prime Minister, nominated by himself. and whose
nomination is ratified by the National Assembly by a vote of
confidence.
The present Government of the Chad Republic, formed in August 2006
